About The Video Recorder:

The Flash Video Recorder enables your users to record videos directly on your website. The resulting videos can the be played back on your website, sent to other users by email or made available for download. With it you can enable your users to record video porfiles and messages.

About The Video Player:

The provided Flash Video Player can be used to play back the videos recorded with the Flash Video Recorder. For playback you can also use other players like Flowplayer or JW FLV Media Player.

Video and Audio Quality

You have full control over the quality of the videos recorded with this application. You can change the resolution, picture quality, frame rate and sound rate. Due to the large buffer used AVRecorder can record high quality recordings over slow connections.

Playing Back the Recorded Videos

The resulting files are .flv files containing audio and video data and they are created on the media server (Red5/FMS). From there they can be played back via streaming or you can move them to a web server and play them via progressive download (similar to You Tube). If you move them to a web server you can also make them available for download.
