The Flash Video Recorder:
The Flash Video Recorder allows web sites to easily enable their users to record video files directly from the browser without installing any other plugins but the already popular Flash Player. Web cams, professional video recording hardware and audio hardware (microphones) are immediately recognized and used by the recorder.
The resulting video (.flv) files can be played back later from their original location on the Red5/FMS server using streaming, they can be moved to a HTTP server for HTTP delivery or they can be downloaded to the local computer for local playback.

As a web site administrator you have full control over the quality of the videos recorded with this application. You can record at any resolution you want including wide and HD resolutions, 640x480 or the more regular 320x240 found in consumer web cams. Due to the large buffer used before sending the audio video data to the server , quality video recording is possible even over slow connections.
The Flash Video Player
The video player can be used in the browser to play back the .flv files recorded by the Video Recorder or it can be used to play any other audio/video files supported by Flash Player: mp3, aac, .flv, h.264, MPEG4 audio and video files.
You can use any other .flv player that you might have to play back the files recorded with the AVChat Video Recorder.o
The AVChat Video Recorder and the AVChat Video Player work in IE, Firefox, Safari and Opera, on Windows, Mac and Linux.

Requirements:
Web site to put the recorder and player on and a Red5/FMS server or Red5/FMS hosting, more details here: AVChat Software Requirements.
Both the recorder and player are compatible with Flash Media Server and Red5.
Integration Issues
Should you have a web developer at hand, he should be able to easily integrate the recorder and player with your existing web site and your users database in any way you wish. We will provide all needed support.
We also provide custom integration services for this recorder/player package, so if you o not have a web developer around we can help you get the most out of the software.
